Quick and Easy Salisbury Steak

Ingredients:
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 (1-pound) package lean ground beef
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 (12-ounce) jar Heinz HomeStyle Bistro Au Jus Gravy®
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 teaspoon soy sauce

Instructions:
In large skillet, cook onion in melted butter or margarine until tender. Remove onion from skillet. In medium bowl, combine lean ground beef and egg; mix well. Form meat mixture into 4 to 6 oval patties. In same skillet, cook patties until browned on both sides; season with salt and pepper. Stir in gravy, ketchup and soy sauce; return onions to skillet. Cover and simmer 10 minutes or until patties are done.
Cooking Tip:
Read meat market labels on packages of ground beef. Packages are labeled with fat content which can run from 5%-30%. For recipes that call for draining of the fat, ground beef with a higher fat content and lower prices can be used.
